Roger McQueen Signs Amateur Tryout Agreement With The Anaheim Ducks

McQueen will report to the San Diego Gulls of the AHL.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Providence College men's hockey freshman Roger McQueen (Saskatoon, Sask.) has signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO) with the Anaheim Ducks and will report to the Ducks' AHL affiliate in San Diego.
 
McQueen, the 10th overall pick by the Ducks in the 2025 NHL Draft, recorded nine goals and nine assists for 18 points with a +10 rating in league play this season while leading all freshmen with 74 shots on goal. For his efforts, he was named Hockey East Rookie of the Year. Overall, McQueen finished third on the Friars in scoring this season with 27 points on 11 goals and 16 assists. He registered three game-winning goals and posted six multi-point games while being named to the Hockey East All-Rookie Team. He ranked eighth nationally among all rookies in faceoff percentage (.551).
