Campbell Skelly Named A Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar

Skelly played in all 11 tournaments for the Friars last season.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced today (Aug. 3) that Providence College men's golf senior Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C.) was named a Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar by the Golf Coaches Association (GCAA) for the 2025-26 season.
To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition, a student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III or the NAIA, or be in the final year of athletic eligibility while pursuing an associate degree in the NJCAA. In addition, nominees must compete in at least 50% of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average below 76.0 in NCAA Division I and hold a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. Recipients also must be of high moral character and in good standing at their college or university.
Skelly, a social science major, finished the 2025-26 academic year with a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average. He competed in all 11 tournaments for the Friars last season and recorded his best finish at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial on Sept. 22-23, tying for fifth overall. At the 2026 BIG EAST Championships, Skelly tied for ninth after shooting a three-round total of 212 (-4). He opened the tournament with a 69, the lowest round by a Friar in BIG EAST Championship history. His top-10 finish marked the first by a Providence golfer at the BIG EAST Championships since 1994. Skelly finished the season with a stroke average of 74.1 across 11 events.
