Alex Lagesse
Alex Lagesse enters her first season as a member of the Friars' coaching staff. In 2019, Lagesse helped guide North Florida to a 30-24 overall record and an appearance in the ASUN Championship game as an assistant coach. 

Prior to the University of North Florida, Lagesse served as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Michigan through a run of three NCAA Regional appearances (2016, 2017, 2018). Michigan's staff was rewarded with the 2016 and 2018 NFCA Great Lakes Region Coaching Staff of the Year. In 2016, she helped guide the Wolverines to the Women's College World Series for the 12th time in the history of the program.  

Lagesse graduated from Valparaiso University in 2012 after pitching four seasons for the softball program. She posted a career 2.37 ERA and holds the program record for wins. In 2012, she set the single season record for wins while leading the Crusaders to their first NCAA Tournament appearance. In 2015, she graduated with her Master of Science in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University Graduate School while acting as a graduate assistant coach for the softball team.
