CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The Providence College defeated Harvard University, 3-2, in overtime on Sunday, Sept. 12 in men's soccer action at Cambridge, Mass. PC junior forward Kevin Jones broke in on Harvard sophomore goalkeeper Mike Meagher and chipped a low shot into the left corner of the net at 1:26 of overtime to give the Friars the win.

Harvard wasted little time in taking an early lead as sophomore forward Jon Oslowski headed in a rebound just 1:27 into the contest. The Friars got on the scoreboard at 20:01 when senior midfielder Michael Eisenhut converted on a penalty kick after Jones was pulled down in the box.
