The Providence College women's soccer team fell, 3-0, at Yale on Sunday, October 28.
Yale's Sara Ruiz scored the only goal the Bulldogs would need in 37th minute. Yale led 2-0 at halftime as Lindsay Demaree scored with 1:04 remaining in the first half. The Bulldogs added another goal late in the second half to complete the scoring. Yale's Chandra King assisted on all three Bulldog goals.
The Bulldogs outshot the Friars, 21-13, as PC goalkeeper Caroline Haines (Stillwater, Minn.) made13 saves in net for the Friars. Yale's Lindsay Sabel and Sarah Peterson combined to make eight saves.
With the loss, PC dropped to 6-9-2, while Yale improved to 5-7-2.
The Friars finish off the season on Tuesday, October 30 as they host Holy Cross at 2:00 p.m. at PC's Glay Field.
