BIG EAST Indoor Championship at Syracuse Univ., Syracuse, N.Y. - Feb. 17-18, 2001

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Providence College women's track team scored 12 points and finished 13th of 14 teams at the BIG EAST Indoor Track Championship at Syracuse University in Syracuse, N.Y. on Sunday, February 18.

The Friars were led by sophomore Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) who placed seventh in the 1,000 meters in a time of 3:00.87.

PC's 4 x 800 meter relay team of sophomore Emer O'Shea (Limerick, Ireland), senior Joan Bohlke (Old Saybrook, Conn.), senior Kathy Sutkowski (Edison, N.J.) and McGettigan finished third in a time of 9:03.83.
