PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The Providence College men's hockey team is ranked 15th in the U.S. College Hockey Online Poll, but dropped out of the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll. Both polls were released on Monday, December 2.
In the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll, Maine is ranked No. 1, while North Dakota is ranked first in the USCHO.com Poll.
The Friars posted a 1-1 record last week. PC was defeated, 4-0, at Clarkson on November 29. The Friars finished their New York trip by defeating St. Lawrence, 4-2, on November 30 in Canton, N.Y. Junior Stephen Wood (Sudbury, Mass.) scored two goals, including the game winner to lead the Friars.
The Friars will return to action on Thursday, December 5 at Merrimack.
