PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College junior Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) notched 13 kills on 37 total attacks for a .243 hitting percentage to lead the offense, but Friars were unable to capitalize and fell to Syracuse, 3-0 (30-25, 30-15, 30-26), in volleyball action on Saturday, October 25 at Mullaney Gymnasium.
Sophomore Allison Baker (Glastonbury, Conn.) hit for 11 kills on 30 attacks for a .233 hitting percentage for Providence (3-21). Baker and freshman Kerry Schulz (Fairfield, Conn.) tied for a team-high with eight digs apiece.
Syracuse (16-9) was led by Kristen Conway hit for 13 kills and six digs.
The Friars return to action on November 1 as they host Georgetown in Mullaney Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m. Seniors Brigid Collins (Forest Park, Ill.) and Megan St. Ledger (Wilmington, N.C.) will be honored at the match for their contributions to the program.
