The Providence College women's soccer team upset Miami, 1-0, in overtime on Sunday, October 26 in Providence, R.I.
The Friars came out strong and dominated play throughout the first-half outshooting the Hurricanes, 14-2. In the 15th minute junior Maura Robertson (Wellesley, Mass.) blasted a freekick from 25 yards out that was bending for the upper right corner and was just punched away with a diving save by the Hurricane keeper.
