Providence College (1-2-2) - Providence looks to get back to the .500 mark against Yale on Saturday, November 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Schneider Arena. The Friars are coming off two tough losses at the hands of No. 2 Dartmouth, 7-2, and No. 3 Harvard, 3-0. The Friars are led in scoring this season by junior Rush Zimmerman (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) with six points (three goals, three assists). Seniors Kelli Halcisak (Grosse Ile, Mich.) and Darlene Stephenson (Virden, Manitoba) are second and third in scoring with five points (one goal, four assists) and four points (three goals, one assist), respectively. Sophomore goaltender Jana Bugden (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) has played all but 10 minutes so far this season for the Friars and has posted a 2.40 goals against average and an .887 save percentage. On Sunday, November 16 the Friars continue to battle the ECAC as they travel to Princeton, N.J. to take on the Tigers at 2:00 p.m.
Yale University (2-1-1) - After going 9-20-2 last season, Yale opened this season with two victories against HOCKEY EAST opponents, defeating Maine (1-0) and Boston College (5-0). The Bulldogs' lone loss came at the hands of Northeastern, 6-3, on November 8. Yale is led this season by sophomore Deena Caplette (two goals, two assists) and freshman Jenna Spring (four assists). Junior Erin Duggan is third on the team in scoring with three assists. Sophomore Sarah Love has played all four games in net for the Bulldogs allowing seven goals and posting a 1.72 goals against average, a .908 save percentage and two shutouts. The Bulldogs are coached by Hilary Witt who is in her second season as a head coach and has a career record of 11-21-3.
