WORCESTER, MA - Providence College was defeated by Holy Cross, 3-0 (30-21, 30-23, 30-20) in volleyball action on Tuesday, September 24 at the Hart Center. Providence falls to 1-14 as the Crusaders improve to 3-10.

The Friars were paced by sophomore Katie Fleming (Cary, N.C.), who led the defense with a match-high 15 digs and had a team-high eight kills.

Holy Cross was led by Caitlin Agostinacchio, who tied for a team-high with 10 kills and added a team-best 14 digs.

Providence returns to action on Saturday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. against Pittsburgh in Mullaney Gymnasium.
