Men's Indoor Track Competes at FasTrack Invitational

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College men's indoor track team competed at the FasTrack Invitational on February 13-14 in Boston, Mass.

Junior Liam Reale (Hospital, Ireland) led the Friars as he captured the mile in a time of 4:04.44. Reale qualified provisionally for the NCAA's with his time in the mile. Graduate student Adam Sutton (Preston, England) placed fifth in the 5,000 meters as he crossed the finished line in a time of 14:01.57. Sutton also provisionally qualified for the NCAA's. In the 1,000 meters, sophomore Richard Jones (Wellington, New Zealand) took eighth-place in a time of 2:28.43 to qualify for the BIG EAST Championship.

Providence is back in action on February 21-22 at the BIG EAST Championship in Syracuse, N.Y.
