Friars Compete at IC4A's

PRINCETON, N.J - Members of the men's and women's track team competed in the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Princeton University's Weaver Track and Field Stadium over the weekend.
The women's side was highlighted by freshman Laura Nagel (Napier, New Zealand). The distance runner continued to impress this outdoor season by grabbing second place in the competitive 3000-meter final. Her clocking of 9:25.78 is her best at the distance.
Nagel crossed just ahead of junior teammate Hannah Davidson, who posted a 9:38.68. Meanwhile freshman Grace Thek (Melbourne, Australia) posted her third fastest time at the distance this spring, crossing in 9:57.04.
In the 5000-meters, senior Emma Perron (West Hartford, Conn.) represented the Friars with a time of 17:34.85.
On the men's side, sophomore Ahmed Ali (Boston, Mass.) competed in the 10,000, checking in at 31:19.56.
Meanwhile, freshman Alex Wallace (Waipukarau, New Zealand) competed at Swarthmore College's Last Chance Meet in Swarthmore, Pa. Wallace posted a personal best in the 1500-meters with a sizzling 3:49.64.
Up next for the Friars is the NCAA Regionals, held May 26-28 in Bloomington, Indiana.
