PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College women's soccer team will be hosting Marquette at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Ray Treacy Track and Field Complex. The Friars have won the past three games and are currently 8-6-2 (BIG EAST 4-3-0) on the season.
The Friars are coming off back-to-back, away wins. Providence recorded the win at Xavier (1-0) on Thursday, Oct. 16 and then at St. Johns (1-0) on Sunday, Oct. 19. In each game junior Catherine Zimmerman (Madison, N.J.) notched the game-winning goal. Zimmerman is currently the Friars' point-leader with 25 points, followed by sophomore Rachel Ugolik (Hamden, Conn.) with six and senior Allison Walton (Brunswick, Maine) with five. Sophomore Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) registered both shutouts and has a total of six shutouts this season.

Scouting the Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles hold an 8-7-2 (BIG EAST 4-2-1) record on the season. Last week, Marquette split their BIG EAST play with a win versus Seton Hall (3-0) and a loss versus DePaul (3-2, 2OT). The point leaders for the Golden Eagles are Mary Luba (14), Darian Powell (10) and Liz Bartels (10).
Marquette goalkeeper, Amanda Engel, has played all 17 games recording five shutouts and 54 saves.
