PROVIDENCE, R.I. -
The Providence College women's soccer team continues its 2014 season at Marist at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17. The Friars will then host Fordham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 at the Ray Treacy Track.
The Friars are 2-3-2 on the season after last Thursday's (Sept. 11) win against Brown, 1-0. Sophomore Rachel Ugolik (Hamden, Conn.) notched the lone goal for the Friars, while sophomore goalkeeper Kristyn Shea (Piscataway, N.J.) recorded six saves for the shutout.

Marist enters Wednesday with 1-4-0 on the season. This past week the Red Foxes dropped both games, first at Navy (2-1) and then Delaware (1-0).
For the 2014 season, the leading point scorers are Amada Epstein (2) and Marissa Mertins (2). In net, Andrea Wicks has led in minutes (270:00) and has nine saves. Makala Foley and Ashley Houghton have also spent time in net recording 11 and four saves, respectively.

Scouting Fordham
Fordham enters Friday with 6-1-0 on the season. This past week the Rams picked up back-to-back wins at Iona (1-0) and Citadel (2-0).
For the 2014 season, the leading point scorers include Jessica Widmann (8), Kate McDonnell (6) and Nicol Natalie (4). In net, goalkeepers Ally White and Megan Fitzgerald have split time. White has a 2-1-0 record on the season with four saves, while Fitzgerald has a 4-0-0 record on the season with eight saves.
