TALKING POINTS
- Providence grabbed one point in the Hockey East standings last weekend after going 0-1-1 against then No. 5/6 Boston University.
- Kasper Björkqvist notched his first collegiate goal last Friday, while Scott Conway, Jake Walman, and Josh Monk each notched two points for the Friars in a 2-2 tie at Boston University on Saturday.
- The Friars out-attempted BU 144-94 over the weekend, including a season-high 77 attempts last Friday in a 2-1 loss to the Terriers.
- Anthony Florentino (0.83) and Jake Walman (0.79) rank fourth and fifth respectively among all Hockey East defensemen in points per game. Florentino is tied for the Hockey East lead in goals for a defenseman with five.
- Providence plays its first true road series at an Atlantic Hockey opponent since a two-game set at Air Force from Jan. 5-6, 1996.
- Hayden Hawkey has been strong for the Friars in goal over the past three games, posting a 1.96 GAA and .921 save percentage over that span.

SCOUTING THE TIGERS
- The Tigers enter the weekend winners of five straight after a convincing two-game sweep at Niagara where they outscored the Purple Eagles by a 13-3 margin.
- Upperclassmen Myles Powell (9-6-15), Caleb Cameron (5-10-15), and Brady Norrish (0-15-15) top the Tigers in scoring.
- In goal, senior Mike Rotolo has logged all but 21:41 in goal this season for RIT, posting a 2.50 GAA and .898 save percentage in 16 games.
- The RIT power play bears watching as they check in third nationally with the man-advantage, converting on 19-of-79 opportunities (.241).
- The Tigers also rank seventh nationally in scoring with 3.69 goals per game and their 35.44 shots on goal per game rank sixth nationally in that category.
