Katie Day Named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region First Team

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - United Soccer Coaches announced its Scholar All-Region Team selections today (Dec. 12). Senior Katie Day (East Kingston, N.H.) represented the Friars on the All-East Region First Team. The defender is graduating in May with her degree in special education and holds a 3.55 GPA at Providence College heading into the spring semester.
 
Day earned a spot on the Scholar All-Region First Team for the second-consecutive season. At the conclusion of the 2018 season she was also recognized on the All-BIG EAST First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-East Region First Team. Prior to the season she was named to the Preseason All-BIG EAST Team.
