PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Senior defenseman
Whitney Dove (Port Moody, British Columbia) was named to the New England Hockey Writers Association Women's Division I All-Star team on Tuesday, April 14. This marks the first time in her career she earned the recognition.
Dove finished the season tied for first on the team in points (28) after an impressive senior campaign playing in all 36 games. She tallied a team-high 19 assists while adding nine goals to her record. Dove's nine goals, 19 assists, 28 points and 113 shots all marked career-highs while posting a plus-minus of +18. Among Hockey East ranks she finished the season ninth in block shots (55). Dove scored two game-winning goals on the road against Merrimack on Nov. 22 and at Holy Cross on Feb. 21.
