Providence College Women’s Hockey Team Moves Up To No. 11 In National Poll

The Friars are currently 12-4-1 overall and 9-3-1 in Hockey East play.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's hockey team claimed the No. 11 position in the most recent USCHO Division I National Poll, as announced on Monday Nov. 21.
 
Since the last USCHO Poll, the Friars shutout No. 8 Northeastern, 3-0, on Tuesday, Nov. 15. This past weekend, the Friars swept the University of Maine in a home series. On Friday, Nov. 18 the Friars shutout Maine, 3-0, at Schneider Arena. The following day, Nov. 19, the Friars defeated the Black Bears again, 5-1, at Schneider Arena.
 
UP NEXT
The Friars will host Brown University for the annual Mayor's Cup at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.
