PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Hockey East announced on Monday (Nov. 7) that Providence College senior co-captain
Max Crozier (Calgary, Alta.) was named Hockey East Defender of the Week. This marks the second-consecutive week a Friar defensemen has been recognized after
Taige Harding (St. Albert, Alta.) earned the honor last week.
Crozier led all Hockey East defensemen in points last weekend, tallying a total of three assists and finishing with a +2 rating over two games. In nine games total this season, Crozier has recording five assists and 16 shots on goal.
A Third Team Hockey East All-Star in 2021-22, Crozier has registered 14 goals and 38 assists for 52 points with a +25 rating in 91 career games at Providence.
The newly-ranked No. 9 Friars will play No. 7 UConn in a home-and-home series beginning Friday night at Schneider Arena.
