PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 19 Providence College men's hockey team held Maine to just 13 shots on goal en route to a 4-2 win over the Black Bears on Friday night (Feb. 25) at Schneider Arena.

- The Friars spent the majority of the opening 10 minutes on the power play as Maine's Donavan Houle and Grant Hebert for both given five-minute majors and game misconducts for hits to the head at 3:22 and 8:47 respectively.
- Maine managed to kill the first major off but
Brett Berard struck late in the second major with his 15
th tally of the season to put Providence up 1-0.

Riley Duran added to the scoring with his ninth goal of the year at 17:11 of the first period.
Max Crozier earned the primary assists on the first two goals for the Friars.
- Providence continued to throw pucks on goal in the second period, taking a 34-8 advantage through two periods.

- The Black Bears got on the board with 1:42 left in the second period on a goal by Keenan Suthers.
