CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No.12 Providence College women's hockey team fell to Boston College, 3-0, on Friday, Feb. 3 at the Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Sandra Abstreiter finished the night with 25 saves.

-The Eagles struck first 9:48 into the first period when Abby Newhook scored a shorthanded goal. Hannah Bilka assisted the play.
 
-Boston College's Gaby Roy scored with 15 seconds left in the second period for a 2-0 lead with Cayla Barnes and Kelly Browne assisting.
 
-At the 5:31 mark of the third period Abby Newhook deepened Boston College's lead, 3-0. Hannah Bilka and Caroline Goffredo were each credited with an assist.
  
-Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) finished the night with 25 saves.
