Hadley Pride Named To BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Pride was featured on the league’s honor roll for the second-straight week and third overall appearance this season.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – It was announced today (Sept. 29) that Providence College redshirt senior libero Hadley Pride (Nashville, Tenn.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. It marked her second-straight appearance among the league's weekly award winners and her third appearance this season.
Pride led the Friars' defense this weekend in two BIG EAST matches against Marquette and DePaul. She recorded 16 digs and averaged 5.33 digs per set in PC's loss to Marquette (3-0) on Friday, Sept. 26. She closed out the weekend with another 16 digs, averaging 5.33 per set in the Friars' loss to DePaul (3-0) on Saturday, Sept. 27.
WHAT'S NEXT: The Friars return to Alumni Hall this weekend for their BIG EAST home opener. They will face St. John's on Friday, Oct. 3 at 5:00 p.m. and Seton Hall on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 3:00 p.m.
