SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Providence College men's golf team wrapped up play at the three-day Wofford Invitational on Tuesday, April 14, at the Country Club of Spartanburg in Spartanburg, S.C. The Friars placed 13th with a team score of 910 (+58). Junior
Campbell Skelly (Charleston, S.C.) led Providence, tying for 29th at 216 (+3). Skelly totaled 13 birdies, the most by any Friar in the field, along with one eagle across three rounds.

University of South Carolina Aiken captured the team title with a score of 840 (-12), while Western Carolina's Tyler Jones claimed first at 204 (-9). Providence opened with a 299, followed by a 308 in the second round and a 303 in the final round.
Skelly recorded his top finish of the spring season. He sat tied for eighth after the opening round and tied for seventh through 36 holes. His 68 in the opening round is his lowest round of the year. Freshman
Callan Fahey (Wheaton, Ill.) also carded an eagle during the tournament.
