PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's golf team returns to action Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7 at the St. John's Women's Invitational held at The St. Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-On-Hudson, N.Y.

The two-round, 36-hole event begins Monday morning with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. The second and final round will be held Tuesday starting at 9:30 a.m. The Friars will play The St. Andrew's Golf Club, a par-71 ranging 6,614 yards. The course has been open for nearly 135 years.
There will be 11 other teams competing at St. Andrew's Golf Club including Fairfield University, Merrimack College, Siena University, Bryant University, Wagner College, Long Island University, Quinnipiac University, Mount St. Mary's University, Hofstra University, St. John's University, and the College of the Holy Cross.
Providence last competed in the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational on Tuesday, March 10 at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, Calif. The Friars placed 15th overall with a team score of 995 (+143). Sophomore
Gwendolyn Yarnall (East Aurora, N.Y.) led Providence, finishing tied for 74th with a score of 241 (+28). Junior
Olivia Arone (West Newton, Mass.) recorded four birdies across three rounds, the most by any Providence player during the tournament.
The Friars traveled to Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. to compete in the El Campeon Collegiate at Mission Inn Resort on Monday, Feb. 23 and Tuesday, Feb. 24. The Friars placed 10th overall with a team score of 1,066 (+202). Sophomore
Gwendolyn Yarnall (East Aurora, N.Y.) led the Friars, finishing tied for 12th with a three-round total of 243 (+27). The result marked her third top-20 finish of the season.
Providence opened the spring schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Ariz. for the BGSU Women's Intercollegiate. The Friars placed 15th with a score of 981 (+129). Freshman
Myla Bisceglia (Rye, N.Y.) led the Friars, finishing tied for 68th with a score of 240 (+26). In the final round, Bisceglia recorded three birdies and her first ever eagle on a par-four. The 77 in her final round was the lowest round of her career.
The Friars opened the 2025-26 season by competing in the first women's golf tournament in Providence College history at the two-day Boston College Red Bandanna Invitational at Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass. Sophomore
Gwendolyn Yarnall (East Aurora, N.Y.) recorded the first top-10 finish in program history with a tie for eighth at the Lady Dolphin Invitational on Oct. 20-21 at Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y. Yarnall finished the tournament with a score of 161 (+19). Providence's top team finish of the fall season also came at the Lady Dolphin Invitational with an eighth place showing.
