PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College women's soccer team earned another 1-1 tie this season versus the Monmouth Hawks (1-1-1) on Thursday, Aug. 20 in Providence, R.I. The Friars now have a 1-0-2 overall record. Freshman Signe Tingager (Alleroed, Denmark) scored her first career goal for the Friars.

GAME FLOW & NOTES

Providence set the tone early with Tingager scoring the Friars' lone goal in the 13^th minute (12:33) off a double assist from Emma Gregorski (South Glastonbury, Conn.) and Carolyn Hinkle (Millersville, Pa.)
Three out of the last five Friar goals and three of four assists have been record by newcomers.
Monmouth bounced back and scored a late first-half goal from Chloe Messer on a shot outside the 18 in the 42^ndminute (41:51). Her goal was assisted by Scarlett Leary.
Providence outshot Monmouth 7-3 in the opening half
Maria Ravotti (Bradfordwoods, Pa.) and Daley shared the goalkeeping duties.
Ravotti started the match and played 45 minutes. She allowed one goal and made one save.
Daley entered the match to begin the second half, played 45 scoreless minutes and recorded four saves.
Both the Friars and the Hawks were scoreless the second half.
