- Providence set the tone early with Tingager scoring the Friars' lone goal in the 13th minute (12:33) off a double assist from Emma Gregorski (South Glastonbury, Conn.) and Carolyn Hinkle (Millersville, Pa.)
- Three out of the last five Friar goals and three of four assists have been record by newcomers.
- Monmouth bounced back and scored a late first-half goal from Chloe Messer on a shot outside the 18 in the 42ndminute (41:51). Her goal was assisted by Scarlett Leary.Â
