PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Providence College women's golf team is set to open the 2026-27 season on Monday, Sept. 14 and Tuesday, Sept. 15, at the Warrior Invitational at Haverhill Country Club in Haverhill, Mass.
Play begins Monday morning at 9 a.m. with rounds one and two in a shotgun format. The third and final round will be played Tuesday. The field includes seven other schools including Stonehill College, Merrimack College, Boston University, Bryant University, Hofstra University, College of the Holy Cross and Bentley University.
Haverhill Country Club is a par-70 course ranging 6,393 yards.
This season's roster includes four seniors, three sophomores and four freshmen with seven returners and four incomers.

The 2025-26 season marked the inaugural season for women's golf at Providence College. The Friars top finish of the season came at the Stonehill Senior Showdown where Providence placed third overall. At the first-ever BIG EAST Championships, the Friars finished seventh overall.
The Friars will have two weeks off before returning to action on Monday, Sept. 28 and Tuesday, Sept. 29 at the Sacred Heart Fall Classic at Great River Golf Club in Milford, Conn. Providence will then travel to Wallingford, Conn. to play in the Quinnipiac Classic at The Farms Country Club from Oct. 12-13.
To conclude the fall season, the Friars will compete in the Crusader Invitational and the Lehigh Invitational. The Crusader Invitational, set for Oct. 19-20, will take place at Worcester Country Club in Worcester, Mass. The Lehigh Invitational will be held Oct. 26-27 at Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, N.J.
