BOSTON, Mass. – The Providence College men's soccer team defeated Harvard, 3-1, on Friday (Sept. 4) at Jordan Field in Cambridge, Mass. Providence received two goals from junior Alvaro Maneiro (Madrid, Spain), while Jeremy Munoz (Rahway, N.J) added one goal in the victory over the Crimson.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
• Harvard opened the scoring in the ninth minute as Tim Langenbahn found the back of the net off assists from Alexander Castel and Alejandro Palacio.
• Providence responded in the 13th minute as Munoz scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Angelo Ventrella to even the match at 1-1.
• The Friars took a 2-1 lead in the 31st minute as Maneiro scored his second goal of the season, with David Casado crossing the ball and earning the assist.
• Maneiro added his second goal of the match and third of the season in the 65th minute, off an assist from Ventrella to push the Friars' lead to 3-1.
