CHESTNUT HILL, MASS. - Providence College was defeated by host Boston College, 3-0 (30-23, 30-22, 30-13), in volleyball action on Friday, October 17 at Power Gym.

Providence (2-20) was led by Katie Fleming (Cary, N.C.). The sophomore notched six kills on 23 total attacks for a team-best .217 hitting percentage.

Freshman Kerry Schulz (Fairfield, Conn.) notched eight kills on 24 total attacks for a .208 hitting percentage. Junior Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) also added eight kills.

The Friars return to home action against Quinnipiac on Wednesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. in Mullaney Gymnasium.
