ALBANY, N.Y. - Providence College was defeated by Marist, 3-0 (30-28, 30-16,30-22), in volleyball action at the University of Albany Tournament on Saturday, October 4.

Junior Ayana Cadres (Los Angeles, Calif.) led the Friars (2-19) on offense with 10 kills. She added four digs for the defensive effort. Sophomore Katie Fleming (Cary, N.C.) led the defense with 11 digs.

The Friars return to action at Boston College on Friday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m.
