Women's Ice Hockey Ranked Fifth In Poll

The Providence College women's ice hockey team climbed to the No. 5 spot in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll and held steady at No. 6 in the USCHO.com poll this week.

The USCHO.com poll remained the same this week except for Princeton entering the poll in a tie for the No. 10 spot with Minnesota State. The Friars climbed back to the No. 5 spot in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll from No. 7 after an 11 day layoff while St. Lawrence and Wisconsin both dropped one spot to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. New Hampshire climbed one spot to No. 9 and Northeastern entered the poll at No. 10 as Minnesota State dropped out of the poll.

The Friars are back in action on Saturday, November 15 as they host Yale at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. at 7:00 p.m.
