Providence College (3-4-2) - The Friars will battle the Bears for the ninth annual Mayor's Cup on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Schneider Arena. The Friars, who are unranked in both polls for the first-time since February 5, 2002, are trying to get back to .500 after splitting last weekends series at Maine. The Friars are led in scoring this season by senior Kelli Halcisak (Grosse Ile, Mich.) and junior Rush Zimmerman (Grosse Pointe, Mich.) with 10 points (five goals, five assists). Seniors Meredith Roth (Dubuque, Iowa) and Darlene Stephenson (Virden, Manitoba) are second and third in scoring with seven points (seven assists) and six points (four goals, two assist), respectively. Sophomore goaltender Jana Bugden (Corner Brook, Newfoundland) has played all but one game so far this season for the Friars and has posted a 2.52 goals against average and an .886 save percentage. Providence returns to action on Tuesday, December 2 as they travel to Boston, Mass. to take on the third ranked Crimson of Harvard University at 7:00 p.m.

Brown University (3-3-0) - After going 14-14-4 last season, Brown opened this season with two victories against HOCKEY EAST opponents, defeating Maine (1-0) and New Hampshire (5-2). The Bears three losses came at the hands of Boston College, 3-1, on November 8 and top-ranked Minnesota (5-2, 8-1) on November 15 and 16. Brown is led in scoring this season by sophomore Keaton Zucker with two goals and seven assists for five points. Juniors Jessica Link and Katie Guay are second and third on the team with six points (three goals, three assists) and five points (two goals, three assists), respectively. The Bears are led by coach Digit Murphy, who has compiled a 246-106-32 record over the past 14 seasons.
