Women's Hockey Ranked No. 10 in National Poll

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (October 27, 2004) -- The Providence College women's ice hockey team climbed back into the national polls at the No. 10 spot in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll this week. The Friars improved to 3-1 overall after a 2-0 weekend over Vermont on Saturday and Sunday, October 23-24. Minnesota (190) remains atop of the rankings holding all 19 first place votes, while Dartmouth (170) and Harvard (151) following in second and third.

Providence hosts the Princeton Tigers on Saturday and Sunday, October 30-31 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. at 2:00 p.m. Princeton received six votes on this week's poll.
