Final Stats

OHMAH, Neb. - The Providence College women's volleyball team was defeated by the Creighton Bluejays in straight sets (25-19, 25-15, 25-17) on Friday, Oct. 23. The Friars drop to 10-14 (1-9 BIG EAST) and the Bluejays improve to16-7 (10-0 BIG EAST).

Kayla Fitzgerald (Redlands, Calif.) led the Friars in kills, with 12. Marina Rose (Coventry, Conn.) added five kills and five digs. Kayla Johnson (Silver Spring, Md.) and Allison Impellizeri (Seaford, N.Y.) both recorded four kills for the Friars.

Defensively, the Friars were headed by Michelle Cruz (Midland Park, N.J.), with 11 digs. Setter Jordan Wiesler registered 20 assists.

The Friars are back in action at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25 against BIG EAST opponent Georgetown.
