The Providence College women's soccer team tied DePaul in a double overtime game on Thursday in Providence, R.I. The game marked the Friars final home game of the regular season and the senior night for Providence's graduating seniors.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
1st Half
- A combination play between Amber Birchwell (Mastic, N.Y.) and Juliana Pellegrini (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) gave the Friars an early chance against DePaul's Lauren Frasca in the 10th minute.
- The duo struck again in the 20th minute when Pellegrini slipped a ball in behind the Blue Demons back like with a heel flick to Birchwell. Frasca made the interception to stifle the Friars attack.
- Katie Day (East Kingston, N.H.) and Kayla Steeves (Needham, Mass.) won their respective 1-v-1 duels during the half to keep the Blue Demons off the board.
2nd Half
- The Friars attacked on transition play in the opening minutes of play with chances from Pellegrini and Birchwell.
- Birchwell had back-to-back 1-v-1 opportunities against Frasca but was stopped by trailing DePaul defenders.
OT
- The Friars had multiple chances in the first overtime frame, two of which forced Frasca to make saves.
- Neither team recorded a shot on goal in the second overtime period.
