TALKING POINTS
- The Friars and Terriers concluded their season series at 1-1-1 after a 1-1 tie last Thursday night at Schneider Arena.
- Chad Krys nearly gave the Terriers an early lead just 43 seconds into the first as he beat the Friar defense to the outside but his backhand deke rang off the post and stayed out.
- Boston University did cash in first at 7:25 of the first period. After Oettinger denied two point-blank chances by the Friars, Shane Bowers finished off a rebound from Joel Farabee to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
- The Friars continued to generate multiple chances in the second period, but Oettinger turned away all 14 shots he faced.

Scott Conway had the highlight of the period as he danced through three Terriers shorthanded and ripped a shot off of Oettinger's knob of his stick.
- After constant pressure in the third period, the Friars finally broke through as
Jack Dugan notched his 10th goal of the season with 8:29 remaining.
Greg Printz slide a pass to Dugan and he slipped a backhand shot between the legs of Oettinger.
- Wilkins registered an assist on Dugan's goal and now has 96 career points.

- It was the seventh time this season that the Friars recorded at least 40 shots on goal.

SERIES HISTORY VS. BOSTON COLLEGE
• The Friars and Eagles will conclude their three-game series on Thursday night at Schneider Arena. Boston College claimed both games at Conte Forum over an eight-day stretch back in January by 4-2 and 4-1 scores.
• It's been a long time between visits to Providence for the Eagles as they make their first trip to Schneider Arena since Oct. 27, 2017, a span of 496 days.
• Overall, the Eagles have claimed five of the last seven meetings between the schools.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
• Boston College currently sits 7th in the Hockey East standings and would match-up with the Friars in the Hockey East Quarterfinals if season ended today. BC split a weekend home-and-home series with Northeastern last weekend and sits one point behind Maine and one point ahead of New Hampshire in the standings.
• The Eagles are led in scoring by junior David Cotton, who is first in Hockey East with 20 goals. Reigning Hockey East Rookie of the Year Logan Hutsko (4-15-19) and Julius Mattila (7-11-18) round out the top three in scoring for BC.
• Junior Joe Woll has posted a 2.39 GAA and .917 save percentage in 31 starts this season.
HAWKEY, WILKINS NAMED SEMIFINALISTS FOR WALTER BROWN AWARD

Josh Wilkins were named semifinalists for the 67th Walter Brown Award, presented annually to the best American-born college hockey player in New England.
20-WIN PLATEAU
The Friars reached 20 wins for the sixth-consecutive season after defeating UConn on Feb. 26.
PUCKS ON NET
The Friars rank second among all NCAA schools with a +385 shots on goal margin. Overall, Providence has outshot opponents by an average of 11.00 shots per game. Their 23.17 shots on goal allowed per game ranks second overall in the NCAA.
DUGAN NAMED HOCKEY EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jack Dugan became the first freshman to reach 20 assists in a season for the Friars since Regan Kelly in 2000-01. He earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season on Monday after posting three points over two games last week. Dugan is tied for the Hockey East scoring lead with BU's Joel Farabee at 31 points.
ELEVEN GAMES TO AIR ON NBC SPORTS BOSTON
Providence College Athletics announced that NBC Sports Boston, the broadcast home of the Boston Celtics will televise 11 men's hockey home games during the 2018-19 season. Eight of the 11 games will be shown live, while the remaining three games with be tape delayed following the conclusion of Celtics coverage.

Beginning with the 2018-19 hockey season, all Friars men's hockey games, in addition to all pregame and postgame network programming will be carried live on NewsRadio 104.7 FM. The agreement also includes 10 editions of the
Nate Leaman Coaches Show that will air throughout the season. Mike Logan, who is entering his 24th season as the voice of the Friars, will call all the live action this season on 104.7 FM. Logan also will host the
Nate Leaman Coaches show on 104.7 FM.
SECOND HALF SUCCESS AGAINST TOP TEAMS
The Friars are 5-0 in the second half of the season against the remaining top-three teams in the Hockey East standings - UMass (1-0), Northeastern (2-0), UMass Lowell (2-0).
MULTIPLE MILESTONES FOR HAWKEY
Goaltender
Hayden Hawkey recorded his single-season program record sixth shutout of the season against Maine on Feb. 8. His 68 career wins are a new program record. His .654 winning percentage currently ranks second all-time in program history. The 68 wins lead all active NCAA goaltenders while his 15 shutouts are second among active goaltenders (Jake Kielly - Clarkson, 16). Hawkey has surrendered just 13 goals in his last 11 games, stopping 258 of 271 shots over that span for a .952 save percentage.
SCHNEIDER SUCCESS
The current group of seniors have dominated at Schneider Arena over the last three-plus seasons, going 48-10-9 over that span (.784).
