PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The No. 12 Providence College women's hockey team skated to a 4-1 win over Boston University on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Schneider Arena in Providence, R.I. Reichen Kirchmair added her eighth goal of the season.

-The Friars' Delaney Couture (Shrewsbury, Mass.) started off with a goal 1:28 into the first period. Mégane Quirion (Saint-Eustache, Quebec) and KC Brooks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) were each credited with an assist.
 
-The Terriers tied the score, 1-1, when Catherine Foulem scored a goal at the 8:02 mark.
 
-At the 13:15 mark in the first period, Lily Hendrikson (Edina, Minn.) and Caroline Peterson (East Falmouth, Mass.) assisted Reichen Kirchmair (Oakville, Ontario) for her eighth goal of the season. The Friars led 2-1 heading into the first intermission.
 
-Lauren DeBlois (Lewiston, Maine) deepened the Friars' lead, 3-1, at the 16:11 mark in the second period with help from Claire Tyo (Massena, N.Y.) and Sara Hjalmarsson (Bankeryd, Sweden).
 
-Hunter Barnett (Caledon, Ontario) scored the final goal of the day 10:37 into the third period. Ashley Clark (North Weymouth, Mass.) and Maddy Coene (Clayton, N.Y.) assisted on the goal.
 
-Sandra Abstreiter (Freising, Germany) finished the day with 29 saves.
