PROVIDENCE, R.I.- The Providence College women's soccer team defeated Stonehill, 2-1, on Thursday, Aug. 27 in Providence R.I. The Friars improved to 2-0-3. Freshmen Jocy Koffi (Abidjan, Ivory Coast) and Signe Tingager (Alleroed, Denmark) each scored for the Friars.

Providence dominated possession in the first half totaling 71% over Stonehill's 29%.
