Jessica Tabb Named ECAC Player Of The Week

Providence, R.I. -- Providence College junior Jessica Tabb was named ECAC Player of the Week on Jan. 24, 2000. Tabb helped the Friars to a 3-0-0 record this past weekend, scoring four goals and adding three assists. The junior forward scored one goal in a win over Gustavus Adolphus. Then scored two goals and added an assist in a 7-1 win over St. Cloud State. In the second game versus St. Cloud, Tabb notched one goal and two assists, to lift the Friars to a 4-3 win.

For the season, Tabb has registered 15 goals, 10 assists, for a total of 25 points, to lead the Friars

The Holland, Mass. native, is the daughter of Gerald and Martha Tabb.

Providence will return to action on Jan. 29 versus Cornell, at Schneider Arena, at 2:00 p.m.
