The Providence College men's cross country team will compete at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Oct. 11 at the New England Championships. Leading the Friars will be juniors Julian Oakley (Tauranga, New Zealand), Christian Costello (Ridgewood, N.J.) and Stephen Robertson (Wakefield, Mass.). Joining the juniors on the 8km course will be sophomores Hugh Armstrong (Balina, County Mayo, Ireland), Trevor Crawley (Cumberland, R.I.), Jake Feinstein (Sandy Hook, Conn.) and Jonathan Estrada (Los Angeles, Calif.).
Four other Friars will race on Saturday. Junior Brendan Sullivan (Foxboro, Mass.), sophomore Billy Bragg (Middletown, N.J.) and freshman Brendan Ungemach (Wayne, N.J.) will all race in the junior-varsity race.
The men's 8km varsity race is set to go off at 12:30 p.m. and the junior varsity 8km race is scheduled for a 1:15 p.m. start.
