Cross Country Remains Ranked In Northeast Region

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The USTFCCCA released the first regional rankings of the regular season on September 12. The Providence women and men’s Cross Country programs retained their preseason rankings of first and second, respectively, in the Northeast Region. These rankings are based off of the first two weeks of the season which saw both the men and women win the UNH Tri-Meet with a perfect score of 15 points.
While inactive this past weekend, both the men’s and women’s teams return to action on September 16 at the Beantown Invitational at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass. The women are set to start at 3:00 p.m. while the men’s race will begin at 3:30 p.m.
