- Providence was forced to defend a full 2:00 of 6-on-4 to close out the game after Michael Citara was called off for holding at 2:02 and Lowell pulled their goalie for the extra-man. The Friars were able to hold off the River Hawks in the final stretch to secure a 3-2 win with crucial blocked shots from Chase Yoder and Kohen Olischefski.
