PRINCETON, N.J. – The Providence College women's hockey team fell to Princeton Univeristy, 3-1, on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Hobey Baker Rink in Princeton, N.J. The Friars fall to 4-9-1 overall while the Tigers improved to 6-4-0. Junior
Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.) scored the lone goal for the Friars.

GAME FLOW & NOTES
-Providence struck first at 13:28 of the opening period on a power-play goal from junior
Audrey Knapp (Stevens Point, Wis.), assisted by senior
Cristina Cavaliere (Mississauga, Ontario) and graduate student goaltender
Hope Walinski (Lincoln, R.I.). It marked Knapp's third goal of the season and first on the power play. Walinski added her second career assist on the play.
-The goal marked the fifth game this season the Friars have scored first.
-Princeton answered less than two minutes later with a goal from Catie Collins to tie the game at one. Jane Kuehl and Gabby Kim earned the assists.
-The Tigers took their first lead of the game on a power-play goal from Kuehl at 12:12 of the second period. Angelina DiGirolamo and Megan Healy picked up the assists.
-The Friars had one power-play opportunity in the second period but were unable to convert.
-Providence challenged for a hit to the head midway through the third period, but after review no call was made.
-The Tigers sealed the game with an empty-net goal with one second remaining in regulation to secure a 3-1 victory. Mackenzie Alexander scored, assisted by Issy Wunder and Teja Gatfield.
-Walinski made 26 saves for the Friars.
-The two losses mark the second time this season the Friars have been swept in a weekend series.
-The Friars fall to 47-14-12 all-time against Princeton and are winless in the last five games of the series.
