NOTES
- The Warriors broke the ice early at the 5:26 mark of the first period on a breakaway goal by Trevor Hoskin.
- Merrimack extended the lead to 2-0 at 18:21 on a power-play goal by Ethan Beyer.
- The Friars were forced to the penalty kill four times in the opening 20 minutes.
- Hoskin added his second tally of the game at 12:20 of the second period on the power play.
- John Mustard got the Friars on the board 58 seconds into third period with his team-high seventh goal of the season. Logan Sawyer and Jonathan Fauchon earned the assists.
- Julius Sumpf cashed in with his first NCAA goal with 1:00 to play to cut the Merrimack lead to 3-2 but the Friars couldn't find the equalizer in the final moments. Beau Jelsma and Andrew Centrella assisted on the Sumpf goal.
