PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College senior Skip Dunphy (Manhasset, N.Y.) scored his 100th-career point with the Friar men's lacrosse team on Thursday, April 10th against Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. Dunphy becomes the 17th men's lacrosse player in program history to score 100 career points.
Dunphy scored two goals in the first quarter versus Holy Cross to come within one point of the milestone. He achieved the feat in the second quarter as he assisted a goal scored by Jon Meehan (Peabody, Mass.) at the 8:17 mark. Dunphy also moved into 14th place all-time at Providence College with 44 career assists, and is tied for 15th all-time in career goals with 56.
Providence College holds a current overall record of 3-6, and remains the only unbeaten team in the MAAC with a 3-0 mark. The Friars will return to action on Saturday, April 12 against MAAC foe Marist in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. at 7:00 p.m.
