ROCK HILL, South Carolina - On Friday evening, the Friars collected a 7-5 win over UNC-Wilmington as she broke a 5-5 tie with a run in the sixth and seventh innings. Senior Nicole Bartholomew (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) knocked home classmate Jackie Karsnia (Spring, Texas) with a two-out RBI. The Friars would add an insurance run in the next inning as freshman Sam Pittman (San Diego, Calif.) scored a run. Nicole Bartholomew started the game on the mound for PC.
