Providence College Friars (4-7, 3-1 MAAC): The Providence College men's lacrosse team will host Marist College at PC's Glay Field on Wednesday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. The Friars are coming off back-to-back Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) victories, with wins against St. Joseph's (6-5 ot) on April 9 and Siena (10-2) on April 16. Providence will enter this Wednesday's game against the Red Foxes with an identical conference record (3-1) and a 4-7 overall mark. Senior Dan Giuntini (Floral Park, N.Y.) leads the team with 19 goals and three assists for 22 points. Giuntini became the 18th player in Providence College history to surpass the 100-point plateau in his career on March 26 against VMI in Lexington, Va. Giuntini is seventh on PC's career goals list (83) and 14th in career scoring (108). Senior Jonathon Hollister (Longmeadow, Mass.) is second on the team in scoring, with 20 points on 14 goals and six assists. Hollister extended his scoring streak to 10 games and has scored at least two goals in four games this season. The team's third leading scorer, sophomore Brendan Ryan (Chatham, N.J.), has 11 points and leads the team with 10 assists. Ryan leads the MAAC with 1.75 assists per game. Senior Andrew McMinn (Pittsburgh, Pa.) has registered a .604 save percentage and is third in league-action with a 11.50 goals against average. McMinn has allowed 61 goals and recorded 93 saves.

Wednesday's match-up will mark the 11th all-time meetings between the two programs. According to the conference preseason coaches poll, both programs were predicted to finish atop the 2005 conference standings. The Friars lead the all-time series, 7-3. Under the direction of Head Coach Chris Burdick, the Friars are 4-2 versus Marist.

Marist College Red Foxes (4-5, 3-1 MAAC): Marist enters Saturday's conference match-up against Providence with a 4-5 overall record. Juniors Bill Duerr and Tim Iuculano lead the Marist offense with 31 and 27 points respectively. Duerr leads the team with nine assists. Iuculano, the MAAC Offensive Player of the Week for April 18, leads the team with 23 goals. Stephen Gravino was named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on April 18, and is fifth in the league with an 8.73 goals against average. In 536 minutes of action, Gravino has a .538 save percentage.
