BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Providence College men's lacrosse team suffered an 11-5 loss to Yale on Friday, March 10 in Boca Raton, Fla. Seniors Michael Farley and Tom Kelly led the Friars, each scoring two goals and adding one assist.
Yale scored five unanswered goals in the first quarter and never relinquished its lead. Yale also won 17-of-20 face-off opportunities. Daniel Brillman led the Bulldogs with six points on four goals and two assists.
George Carafides played all 60 minutes in goal for Yale and made six saves for the win. Senior Ron Westgate made 12 saves in goal for Providence in 60 minutes of action.
