PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Providence College softball team has rescheduled its BIG EAST Conference doubleheader against No. 18/19 Louisville for Thursday, May 4 beginning at 2:00 p.m.

This date is a make up from this past Saturday's contests which were rained out.

In addition, the Friars games against Central Connecticut, originally slated for May 4, have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled.

Providence softball (19-10, 4-6 BIG EAST) returns to action later today as it travels to the University of Rhode Island for a doubleheader against the Rams beginning at 3:00 p.m.
