Softball Releases 2009 Fall Schedule

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -

The Providence College softball team released its 2009 fall schedule on Monday, August 24. The Friars will play a total of eight games in the fall, including four at Raymond Field on the campus of Providence College.

The Friars will kick off their fall schedule on Saturday, September 19 when they play a home doubleheader against Boston College beginning at 11:00 a.m. The following day, PC will travel to Smithfield, R.I. to play Bryant University in a doubleheader starting at noon.

On Saturday, September 26, Providence will play the University of Connecticut and Long Island University at the UConn Fall Tournament in Storrs, Conn. The Friars will conclude their fall schedule on Saturday, October 3 when they host Brown University and the University of Rhode Island, respectively at Raymond Field.
